— A quieter way to write to owners
Monthly owner reports that actually sound like you wrote them.
Drop in this month's numbers and notes. OwnerBrief drafts a warm, professional update your landlord will actually read — in seconds, with your agency's voice and branding.
I hope this finds you well. Here is your update for May — a quiet month overall, which is usually a good sign with a tenancy like yours.
Rent came through on time at $2,850, with expenses totalling $487. Net to your account: $2,363.
The leaking tap in the main bathroom was resolved on the 12th by Ridge Plumbing — a straightforward fix...
✦ The problem we kept hearing about
Property managers spend six to twelve hours a month writing to owners. Monthly statements. Maintenance approvals. Routine inspection summaries. Lease renewal recommendations. The work is repetitive, but it isn't generic — every letter needs to sound like it was written by someone who actually cares about that property. Most agencies copy-paste templates that read as robotic. Owners notice.
✦ How it works
Three steps. Six minutes. Done by the time the kettle boils.
i.
Drop in what you'd normally write down.
Rent, expenses, this month's maintenance notes, anything happening in the market. The same details you'd jot before drafting a report. No special format.
ii.
OwnerBrief drafts the letter.
In your agency's voice — warm, direct, or boutique-luxury, your choice. Reads like you wrote it on a Friday afternoon, unhurried.
iii.
Review, edit, send.
Copy into your email tool. Or export as a branded PDF with your logo. You're still the property manager. OwnerBrief just stops you losing your Sundays to admin.

✦ Why we built this
Hi — I'm based on the Gold Coast.
I kept hearing the same thing from property managers I spoke to: "the tenant work I can handle. It's the owners that eat my evenings." Sunday afternoons drafting monthly reports. Tuesday nights writing maintenance approval emails. Friday lunches typing up routine inspection summaries on the back of a sandwich.
And it matters, because every one of those letters is about someone's home and someone's biggest investment. Owners notice when a report reads like it was copy-pasted.
Tools exist for tenant communication. Almost nothing exists for owner communication done well — the kind that retains landlords, builds trust, and reads like a real relationship.
So I built OwnerBrief.
It's in private beta now with a small group of Australian agencies. If you'd like to be part of the next intake, I'd love to hear from you.

✦ Questions you might have
— How is this different from just using ChatGPT?
ChatGPT writes generic prose. OwnerBrief is built for the specific shape of Australian property correspondence — vendors, owners, suburb data, plain-English market commentary, the right tone for each situation. Your agency's branding lands on every output. And your data stays in Australia.
— Will my owners know it's AI-written?
Not unless you tell them. You review and edit every letter before sending — the same as you do with a template. OwnerBrief is a first draft, not a publish button.
— What if the AI gets something wrong?
You're the property manager. You sign off on every letter before it leaves your inbox. Think of OwnerBrief as a junior team member drafting for you, not a robot making decisions.
— Which CRMs does it work with?
OwnerBrief works alongside your existing CRM — PropertyMe, Console Cloud, ManagedApp, anything. You don't need to migrate or integrate. Drop in the details, get the letter back.
— What about privacy and compliance?
Data stays in Australia. We're built with the Privacy Act 1988 amendments (including the December 2026 automated decision-making transparency obligations) in mind. Happy to walk through it on a call.
